Apologies for taking so long to update the spotting - I haven't had much time for Project Noah recently...

We were completely off base thinking these were Lycidae! Thanks for the ID help.

There is no doubt that they belong to Lampyridae. Look at the elytra without reticulate pattern.

I can certainly see the resemblance to cockroaches, but these are absolutely beetles. I believe Juan, and Johan, are correct - they are Lycidae, net-winged beetles. They have the same coloration as all the Lycidae, and the crazy antennae are also typical of that family.

I didn't see any with this color pattern but they look like cockroaches to me from the Archimandrita or Blaberus? They certainly have the same body shape. I could be completely wrong. Juan is the one who could really be sure.
