Hemidactylus brookii

Description:

Body covered with small white granules.vertical pupils adapted for nocturnal life.Yellowish-brown above with irregular dark spots; one or two dark lines on the side of the head, passing through the eye.

Habitat:

spotted it near human habitation,but same species has lot of variations in single place.

Notes:

a very gentle reptile.there is a myth that it is poisonous but no venomous/poisonous lizard/gecko is found in india
