Description:

Unidentified flesh fly from the widespread family Sarcophagidae. The typically have gray bodies and (three) black stripes on the thorax, and are non-metallic in appearance.

Habitat:

Spotted on variegated croton (Codiaeum variegatum) in a large semi-urban yard & garden adjacent to a disturbed remnant patch of forest.
