It's a very pretty Tortoise Beetle of some kind. I don't know exactly what it is. It seems to me ( I'm not an expert ) very similar to Stolas lacordairei lacordairei Seen here: http://www.coleoptera-neotropical.org/pa...Also, to Chelymorpha cribraria which comes in two different color forms which I've photographd here in Miami. Seen here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/182588However, I do not think it is exactly one of these.
