Description:

The caterpillar of the Banded Tussock Moth (a Tiger Moth) is variable in coloration. This one is a yellowish-gray with white and black lashes on the front over the head and on the rear. Caterpillars feed on a variety of trees.

Habitat:

Resting on a wall at Fallingwater.
