Green-veined White

Pieris napi

Description:

Birth of a beauty - Yellow winged butterfly producing itself from its cocoon. It was totally exhausted after that procedure, layed for a time on the ground - as I was looking later after it, it made itself obviously to the skies :)

That's true, Leuba - being able to watch it move while shooting stills of it, the entire body appeared that soft

Incredible Lars and a weirdly fabulous looking butterfly too. Those eyes are spooky like the wheels on a childs toy. Wonderful spotting and set of pics.
