Zebrasoma veliferum
Named for their sail-like dorsal and anal fins, these lovely fish are banded with broad bars of brown and white which overlie a fainter pattern of orange-yellow bars. Pale yellow-white dots cover the face, blue surrounds the scalpel at the base of the tail and the tail is mostly yellow. grows to 15 inches.
Indo-Pacific, eat fleshy algae, form pair bonds defendinhg a joint pair territory. Occasionally they form schools.
