Yellow-dotted Crab Spider

Description:

A very small (possible female) crab spider trying to camouflage on a wooden railing. It is only 4mm in length so the male should be really tiny. I named it the yellow-dotted crab spider because you can see lots of faded yellow dots aligned neatly on it's abdomen. This abdominal patterns are strikingly similar to a female Tmarus spider specimen obtained from Brunei.

Habitat:

Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary, Sandakan, Sabah.

Notes:

>>>Map accuracy : 1000 m diameter. This species is recorded from as far as Kota Marudu, the north side of Sabah, about 200 kilometers away from Sepilok (east of Sabah)

Hi Mark, there are lots of timber tree for it here but I believe it can also cope well in human environment.
I spotted another one of this species 200km away trying to camouflage on a white building wall far away from the nearest forest.
