Halysidota can be very difficult to identify, and sometimes need genitalia dissection, especially in the adults. The only species recorded from the Dominican Republic on BOLDsystems is Halysidota cinctipes, however, I am not sure that this is the species you have here. http://www.boldsystems.org/index.php/Tax...
