Phoradendron juniperinum
Found some mistletoe growths on these junipers on the west side of bend. Anyone know the scientific name?
Sagebrush steppe
I looked it up and it said it was called Viscum album but I'm not sure. We have a lot of mistletoe down here in TX it's all over the mesquite trees. I heard that the berries are really poisonous. So yeah
It looks like Phoradendron juniperinum. What kind of Juniper is the mistletoe in? This is not the mistletoe associated with Christmas in the States, Viscum album, but they are both hemiparasites in the sandalwood family.
