Garden Orb Web Spider

Eriophora transmarina

Description:

Colours can vary, but are usually brown. This particular spider is predominantly fawn with a light brown abdomen. The Australian Garden Orb Web Spider can be 50mm or larger when fully grown.

Habitat:

Found in gardens throughout Queensland.

Notes:

Photographed at Tolga Country Lodge on the Atherton Tableland. This spider was found outside my bedroom window.
