Colours can vary, but are usually brown. This particular spider is predominantly fawn with a light brown abdomen. The Australian Garden Orb Web Spider can be 50mm or larger when fully grown.

Found in gardens throughout Queensland.

Photographed at Tolga Country Lodge on the Atherton Tableland. This spider was found outside my bedroom window.
