Coyote

Notes:

I startled this coyote from about 10 feet out, and it startled me as well! It was between me and the canal, and due to the rain, my silent footsteps worked to my advantage. The coyote ran about 30 yards before turning around and watching me. It did this 3 or 4 times and gave me plenty of time to take lots of photos. Coyote activity has been high here lately.
