Carales astur, the Astur Moth, (larva) is of the Arctiidae family. It was described by Cramer in 1777. It is found in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, Surinam, Brazil, French Guyana, Paraguay, Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.
