Description:

This is the previous spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/101... 34 days on. From a pliable cream-caramel-chocolate, its discs expanded, and it turned to a rigid dark chocolate. This may be a member of the Ganoderma lucidum complex, (related to) a Lingzhi mushroom ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lingzhi_mus... ).

Habitat:

Growing on a rotten coconut log in a large semi-urban yard & garden, near a disturbed patch of remnant lowland forest.
