Description:

Ectophasia crassipennis is a species of 'parasitic flies' belonging to the family Tachinidae subfamily Phasiinae. The larvae are parasitic of Hemiptera (Pentatomidae, Acanthosomatidae, Coreidae and Lygaeidae species. The pictured Graphosoma semipunctatum is carrying 2 eggs of that particular parasitic fly, and it was spotted near Volos city ring road, Greece. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/682...
