Meyer's Butterflyfish

Adults swim in pairs and appear to be very territorial, often resulting in fights in areas were are very common. Purplish body with think diagonal black stripes. Common in the Maldives.


Mainly found on reef crests near outer reef walls to depths of about 15 m.
