Description:

Came upon a nesting pair of Gyrfalcons on Adak Island in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. I'd heard a rumor of these birds but never luckier to spot them until this past summer. Havent seen them since. As far as I know they are the only birds of this type on this island. Very cool birds.
