Adult: White with the tip of rounded ring black; bill, bare facial skin and red legs (Immature: brown with white belly.) long neck and legs with an extremely long down curved bill
Tidal mudflats and beaches, marshes, swamps, watersides.
Voice has a nasal honk and nests in large colonies. They reside in Florida and less common in the panhandle.
