Description:

These ones are youngsters. Reddish-orange caps with darker colour toward the centre. Paler orange warts. Gills and stipe are pale yellow to white.

Habitat:

Very sandy soil in thick ti-tree (Leptospermum) bush land.

Notes:

Also known as 'Vermilion Grisette, Pretty Grisette or Vermilion Amanita
