Garden Praying Mantis

Orthodera ministralis

Description:

About 40 mm long, this mantis was all green with a flattened body and a traingular head. The femurs of the forelegs were a bright yellow. The inside of the forelegs have a bright blue spot.

Habitat:

Spotted in the garden

Notes:

Feed on insects found int he garden.
