fruit bat sign

Description:

Most likely a fruit bat's supper last night (guava - Psidium sp.).

Habitat:

Sign observed on guava (Psidium sp.) in a large semi-urban yard & garden adjacent to a disturbed patch of remnant lowland forest.

Notes:

Bats visit our place nightly. We can hear the wing beats and see the sign in the morning. Lots of saplings of various tree species sprout in our yard from seeds dropped by bats. I have yet to get a decent photo.

You should get one of these night cameras. I am planning to put one in my garden at night. I like the Bat sign picture!
