Spotting

Description:

While walking along the edge of the bog, several frogs would squeak and leap into the water. After several minutes, I spotted this one hanging out in the tall grasses. I heard nearby carpenter frogs and bullfrogs.

Habitat:

A small bog pond in the piedmont region of South Carolina.

This was at about 5pm. The sun was out, the insects were buzzing. It was a great hike!
