Marbled Salamander

Ambystoma opacum

Description:

A young marbled salamander that I found while gardening. This is the second one I've seen in the past week but I unfortunately didn't have my camera on me for the first one.

Habitat:

A very wet area, found under some root masses I dug up while gardening.

Notes:

For some reason Project Noah doesn't know my town exists but it was seen in East Hampton, CT not Hartford.
