Description:

A little leaf with a face, basically. :) I have a lot of them in my yard, and they primarily hang out on the sunflower leaves. I have yet to see any with horns--they all look pretty much like this one.

This looks to be one of the hornless Buffalo Treehoppers. I think it is between Ceresa lutea or Ceresa festina (the Three-cornered Alfalfa Hopper) They look very close to me and I'm not sure how to tell them apart. They also both seem to be present around your area.

It's a tree hopper of some kind, Membracidae family.
