Congrats Jellis! This spotting is being featured as our Project Noah Fun Fact:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=...

Project Noah Fun Fact: Most ducks are classified by their style of feeding. They are lumped into divers, dabblers and the others. While the hooded merganser will dive under water to collect small fish, crustaceans and aquatic insects, it is considered one of the "others", often called sea ducks. An assemblage of duck species at any given waterhole is often composed of dabblers, divers, and others. Habitats often have limited resources and by "resource partitioning", more species can be supported.
