Description:

The Pond Slider is a very close relative of the Red-eared Slider, so close that they share the same species name, although they are a different sub-species, the Red-eared being T. s. elegans. Those without red ears, such as these are likely to be either T. s scripta or scripta x elegans hybrids.

Habitat:

Spring pool in rural park.
