Description:

Spotted basking in warm sun on my garden plants. Length 1.8 to 2 inches. Fairly common with a variable colouring during the early growth.

Habitat:

Ponds - Lakes and Streams.

Notes:

Nearest stream about a mile. (As is the Ohio river) There are springs above our back garden.
