Caloplaca carphinea
Caloplaca carphinea is a crustose lichen, saxicolous that appears on siliceous rocks. It has a white-cream thallus, areolate in the centre with narrow convex lobes radiating outwards. Apothecia are orange-red coloured, with white margins and scattered in the centre.
