Indeed Bayucca! The coloration varies from individual to individual, also between the sexes. The range is right, but there is also quite a bit of overlap between the two species.

I am not sure, but looking at different pictures of Hispanicus, I have the impression of slightly stronger markings in Hispanica. You have to check Hispanica as well, the range would be perfect. What I learned today about lizards? Variability!!
