Maybe an Intermediate or Eastern Reef Egret? Any help would be great.
Tidal creek.
The intermediate when flying has the legs trail with tarsal joint just short of the tail tip. The reef egret has shorter and thicker legs. My guess would be that it is an intermediate egret.
@ Liam - How do you see the difference on the Eastern Great Egret and Intermediate Egret?
