Small wasp, shiny black with a red thorax and all black wings, about 8 mm in length. A Sawfly of the Family Tenthredinidae.

Habitat:

On a woody plant with fuzzy leaves, Rancho Nuevo Park, 10 km west of San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,340 meters.
