I hope someone can ID this one too. Sorry I couldn't get a picture of him landed. I cant even say how big he was as he was too far away.

Hey Leanne. Perhaps it could be a fork-tailed kite, (perhaps black). Checkout the following: http://dwpicture.com.au/picture.asp?pict.... I may be wrong but the pic is very similar. PS Love your work!!!

I was worried about that. I guess the snail kite is mainly south and north America. You have some great spottings on here.

Thanks James! I just looked Snail Kite up & it doesn't seem to be found in Australia from what I can see. Thank you very much for the suggestion though. I'm lost with these big birds! :) Thanks

Maybe a Snail Kite. Maybe female or juvenile since it looks to have more brown. Great shot!
