Mold of a brachiopod fossil. The rock measures 32.05 mm (1.26 in) tall by 38 mm(1.49 in) wide. The fossil measures 19.75 mm (.77 in) tall by 24.09 mm (.94 in) wide. This fossil dates to the Devonian Period (416-359.2 million years ago).

Oh yes. All of the fossils on my page are from my personal collection. Whenever possible (or more accurately when I remember to) I photograph them in the field and then take better shots later for detail. I have many, many more to post.
