Green Lacewing

Nodita pavida

Description:

Lacewing with a bright green body. Yellow on the head and yellowish tint to the top of the thorax. Dark eyes and long dark antennae. Small dark line on either side of the "neck". Clear wings with some dark veining. Green bar with a dark end on the edge of the wings.

Habitat:

Mammoth Cave National Park, Kentucky. Attracted to lights at night.

Nodita is currently understood as a subgenus of Leucochrysa.
