Blue Tiger is a butterfly that belongs to family Nymphalidae. It's wingspan is about 75-95mm. The wings are black in colour with light blue spots. The underside is similar to the upper side, but the colours are brighter. Its sole larval food plant is Dragia volubilis.
This species was spotted while resting in a shady area, after a quick rainfall.
