Common kingfisher

Description:

Bright colours seen well as he was in the sunshine. Has become a local celebrity as has come to the centre of the village whilst the river is flowing too fast and there is a small area adjacent which has flooded to form a pool for him to fish in.

Habitat:

Middle of a village where the river goes under the road
