Cool find...this is an insect, so you can move it to the Arthropods category. Also, I would suggest leaving it unidentified rather than calling it a Japanese Beetle grub. Grubs are difficult to identify and the crucial characteristics for identification are on the grub's butt. They are identified by the shape of the anal slit and the raster pattern (hairs on their butt). Gross, but true. I spent an entire summer in grad school staring at grub butts under a magnifying glass and it was definitely disgusting.
