Hi Glenn, I have cropped & lightened the photo so I could see some more detail (I've downloaded it for you too) & what you have here is a female wolf spider carrying her babies on her abdomen! I can't tell what species but the family is Lycosidae.
You might like to add this to the Brooding Behavior in Arthropods mission!
