Description:

Blooms approximately 4 cm. wide on a viney plant reaching 55 cm. above the surface of the ground.

Habitat:

Sandy soil in a disturbed, mostly sunny location on an uninhabited key.

Notes:

Also known as Star Jasmine.

I think this may be Confederate Jasmine, Trachelospermum jasminoides, but the plant was blooming in October and the references I've found tell me that this species blooms in the Spring.
