Slug

Description:

Small body, about an inch long, no arms or legs, slimy and different shades of brown. Small antennas on the top of head, and large circular lump on back with small but thick pointed tail.

Habitat:

It prefers dark places like in soil or under big rocks outdoors. I discovered it in my backyard under a large stone. It also seemed like it liked wet or damp places to keep its slime on its body. However, the dampness made the habitat warmer then its surroundings.

Notes:

It seemed to live with several other snails of its type. It didn't try to run or hide, it seemed indifferent to my presence.
