Paropsis ornata
A delightful brown leaf beetle with cream dots arranged roughly in rows along the elytra and on the margin of the pronotum.
On Eucalyptus in Brisbane. Specimen found by Trevor
Some beetles have no commonly accepted common name. I suspect the "dotted lines leaf beetle" is named by Chew based on its description. I have chosen the name "ornate leaf beetle" based on the Latin binomial.
