Stick-like aquatic true bug that is found in dense aquatic vegetation in fresh oligohaline environments. Predacious and feeds on small insect larvae.

Habitat:

Dense beds of aquatic vegetation

Notes:

Found in Dundee Creek, Chase MD. Salinity 7ppt in a mixed bed of wild celery and coontail.
