Red-yellow polypore

Gloeophyllum sepiarium

Description:

This polypore looks completely different on the top and on the bottom. The top is white with tan rings and the gills on the bottom are red-yellow in color.

Habitat:

There was this single polypore living on a dead tree log in the forest at Magnolia Springs State Park in Millen Georgia.
