Description:

White sepals, yellow stamens and brown bracts, 3cm diameter flower. The plant itself looks a succulent. Picture #1 depicts the overall shape of the plant, covering Table Mountain rocks, and the brown buds. Picture #2 is a zoom on some flowers.

Habitat:

Table Mountain fynbos vegetation.

Lovely Creeper, I wonder if it would grow in Florida. I wonder if that is where Helichrysum Essential oil comes from. I use it daily.

The flowers look as if they have a papery texture which would suggest that they are possibly Helichrysum, but the the leaves look like Mesembryanthemum http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mesembryant...
