•The males have a green head and grey wings, the females are brown. •They eat water plants, insects, crustaceans and worms. •Their predators are raptors, mustelids, snakes, racoons, opossums, skunks, turtles, large fishs, felids and canids.

Habitat:

Arctic tundra, subtropical regions, wetlands, ponds, parks, rivers, lakes, estuaries, shallow inlets, open sea. -I saw these ducks in a lake in big bear

Hi BrunoMoller! Thanks for all the great contributions and suggestions you've made on Project Noah so far. In your own spottings, in the Habitat field, could you please describe the actual habitat where you saw your spottings, rather than provide generic habitat information. From our FAQ page: "Habitat: Please state the actual habitat where you photographed the spotting - this information can then be used to track changes in habitat, such as those caused by human intervention or habitat destruction. Again, it is not necessary to state published habitat information here, this can be referenced in the 'reference links' box.". Thank you in advance!
