Terrapene carolina carolina
You can tell it's female by the color of its eyes and the shape of its shell. Females have brown eyes, whiles males' are reddish, and their shells are more rounded on top than males'.
My yard, at border of flower bed. It was raining when I spotted her.
Possibly the same turtle I spotted last month.

Aw, thanks : ) It's fun to see what other people spot nearby. These are some of my more interesting spottings; usually, it's just lots of bugs!
