A highly metallic exoskeleton is not usual for the checkered beetles This looks like an oval (eumolphnae) leaf beetle but is too slim and bears clubbed, or at least thickened, antennae

Habitat:

Found on eucalyptus.

Notes:

Cleridae are predators, scavengers or pollen feeders.
