The one in photos looks like a young animal. It is a medium sized antelope, approx 60cm of height in shoulder, elegantly built. It shows a short smooth coat, fawn in color, with head and neck paler. Inside the legs and underparts are white, with dark horizontal band on flanks. Head with black-white-fawn pattern, carrying short elegantly spiraled horns.
Observed in groups and mixed herds, mixed with impalas, gnus, zebra and hartebeest.
