Yellow-eared Toucanet

Selenidera spectabillis

Description:

One of the 6 ramphastid species Toucan, toucanet abd aracaris) that can be found throughout Costa Rica.

Habitat:

Mountainous rainforest

Notes:

We finally found the Yellow-eared Toucanet (Selenidera spectabillis) Costa Rica. Well I wasn't exactly prepared for this moment there was so much rain that day. If I could do it all over I would've used a tripod but because I did not have one at the time, I had to use flash as it was pretty dark under the canopy that day.
