That is definitely a western trillium. They range in color from white to pink to purple and every sort of combination. Usually they bloom white and turn color with age but I have seen them born with color. That is a particularly neat pattern on the one you spotted. Nice!

That looks like some kind of trillium flower, though in the wild I have only ever seen white or red flowers
